Defining Your Brochure's Objectives
For this assignment, I chose Texas Southern University college of science (www.tsu.edu) as an example of a web page that is effective in enticing students into the school. There were several reasons why I found the school to so effective. First, the design of the web page was intricately designed. It was helpful in providing essential information regarding the department. The site clearly describes the degrees that are offered within the department. The site is very much similar to images that represent movie themes and etc. Basically the page tries to the best of its ability to be as entertaining and straightforward as possible in order to narrow the decision of choosing an area of study. However, Texas Southern University's site quite bland in comparison with other schools. Ole Miss has "flashing lights", while on the other hand, USM only has average- looking colors. I learned that the brochures should be solid. I will provide an enormous amount of pictures to instantly catch the eye of the reader.

I believe that the brochures should be interesting and eye catching as well, and intend to incorporate what the average student is interested in. I too looked at Ole Miss' website and found it to be very eye catching as well.
